Water Wildlife and Wood
We are three artists, Sharon Crosby, Nelle Crosby and Susan Palfrey, living and working in West and South Yorkshire. Our display is inspired by Water, Wildlife and Wood.
The work by Sharon Crosby is inspired more recently by the East coast cliffs, Danes Dyke and shore lines. The work is mainly mixed media drawings and paintings. There is also somework made with fabric and machine embroidery.
The work by Nelle Crosby shows delicate coloured pencil drawings and computer drawings, based on animals.
The work of Susan Palfrey is inspired by and based on ideas stimulated by travelling and life experiences, art history, different cultures, nature, icons and other artists.
When two of our Supper Club favourites get together, this is what happens! Daisy Daisy is Nicola Farnon on double bass and vocals and Julia McInally on guitar and vocals bringing something new and exciting to the acoustic music scene. Not to be missed!
Julia McInally & her Right Hand Men will be getting you into the festive mood with songs, ballads and some Christmassy numbers.

Local singer-guitarist, Danny Maddocks, brings his simply sublime groove-based trio to the Harland Supper Club for a chilled evening with a jazz soul vibe
Martin Jenkinson was a former steelworker whose love of photography combined with his politics and his belief in social justice, fairness and equality. He was responsible for some of the most striking images to have emerged from political and industrial struggle in Britain over the last 30 years.
Following his death in 2012 his daughter Justine took over the management of his image library and now runs it full time. Justine is a regular at the Harland and displays Martin's images for us every year. This time we've chosen some of our own personal favourites from the archive. Come along and have a cuppa while you look around these great images and reminisce about old Sheffield and more.
